Ron Kopels Studio is an architectural design firm specializing in residential, commercial, and institutional projects in New York City and surrounding areas. As a service oriented practice, the firm seeks to provide its clients with designs that are both dynamic and truly functional.
The principal, Ron Kopels, graduated from the Cooper Union in 1981. He received a Fullbright Fellowship to conduct research in Florence, Italy in 1982. he was then invited to work for Sottsas Associates in Milan. Upon returning to New York in 1985, he became a project Architect at Bulter Rogers Basket Architects and served as a partner at Arc Development. For these offices, Mr. Kopels completed a variety of restaurant designs and office renovations.
